TECHCRETE

THE BRIEF

Filming in various locations for a project is always exciting but there can be challenges.

Will the weather be good? Will you be able to fly the drone? Will the people on site like us? Where’s the nearest pasty shop? And on this occasion, will the flight over to Ireland be its usual adrenaline filled hell ride that causes me to hold Dean Turvey-Browns hand! (This has happened as some of you know…)

Techrete UK & Ireland are market leaders of pre-cast concrete facades in the UK & Ireland who brought us in to produce a film to mark the company’s 40th anniversary.

Before the start of the project we had no idea what a concrete facade was and the visual impact it can have on a building, this is why we love what we do because every day is a school day.

Covering locations and buildings that included the Olympic Village in London with the stunning V&A, Brigg in Lincolnshire and Techrete HQ in Balbriggan, Dublin, we spent 4 brilliant days filming with the equally brilliant Sandra Doran, capturing the various processes of what goes into the design, manufacture and design of pre-cast concrete facades.

We’re very proud of the finished film so thanks to Techrete and the lovely Sandra Doran for the opportunity, for her hospitality and the Guinness induced giggles.
