St BasilsHike for Homeless

THE BRIEF

The Hills Have Pies…..

We’ve been privileged to have worked with St Basils for a number of years now, helping them to tell the stories of service users and create content that lets the wider world know exactly what St Basils do to help the young homeless people of the Midlands.

As you may be aware by now, Dean Turvey-Brown and myself worked in Further & Higher Education for quite some time, so we experienced first-hand the challenges that some of our young students faced, so working with St Basils really resonates with us.

For this project we took a trip to the picturesque peak district to produce a film to promote their Hike for Homeless event. So, we threw on our hiking boots and our St Basil’s crew T-shirts and hit the hills to capture the day’s events.

Projects like these really help charities like St B’s…

How?

Well, the event gets well promoted, more people take part the following year, more money gets raised and more young people get the help they deserve!

Thankfully the weather was kind, the participants were lovely and we didn’t get any blisters!
